Our Story: From Goat Strength to MEROX

Wondering what happened to Goat Strength? We're transitioning to MEROX. Behind the new name is the same small business, the same family effort, and a community that has helped us find our way.

Goat Strength started in my parents' basement

I'm Haden, the owner of MEROX. Three years ago, I started Goat Strength in my parents' basement. Today, my mom and I are still working from the basement, packing orders and sending shorts out to our customers.

That photo above is a look at the business behind your order. The shelves, the bags of shorts, the packing materials, and the two of us are all part of the story. Every pair we send out is part of something we've spent the last three years building.

Finding our place, one pair at a time

Running Goat Strength hasn't been a straight line. There have been plenty of ups and downs, and times when I wondered whether I should close the business. It took time to find a niche and a product that people connected with.

Then we found our place with shorts people loved. Seeing customers come back, hearing what they liked, and getting requests for new designs gave me reasons to keep going. Those conversations have become one of my favorite parts of running the business.

Over the past three years, we've sold more than 60,000 pairs and grown to more than 70 designs. Those numbers mean a lot to me because I know how much work, support, and persistence went into reaching them.

Our customers help shape the designs

A lot of Goat Strength shorts began with a customer's idea or design request. The collection has grown through those conversations, with people telling us what they'd like to wear and helping us see possibilities we might not have thought of ourselves.

I love getting to know the people who support the brand. Whether someone is choosing their first pair, coming back for another print, or sharing an idea, that interaction matters. It's helped turn a basement business into a community we're proud to be part of.
